The IoT India Congress 2016, the country’s largest conclave on IoT concluded its 3 day sessions post a series of enthralling discussions, recognition of outstanding Thought Leaders and IoT Start-up and whitepaper launches. The sessions saw engaging participation from over 500 delegates, industry leaders, IoT enthusiasts from across India. The two day congress, inaugurated by J S Deepak, Secretary, Ministry of Telecommunications, GoI witnessed multiple panels on impact of IoT in Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail and Smart Cities along with key notes from prominent industry leaders such as Jim Morrish, Founder and Chief Research Officer, Machina Research, Srinivas Prasad, CEO- Philips Innovation Campus, Mark E Cratsenburg, Vice President, Global Sales, Aeris, to name a few.

The Congress recognised top three Thought-Leaders and Start-Ups as part of the two day awards series that aimed to reward and celebrate individual excellence and leadership in the IoT ecosystem. Dr.Shyam Vasudeva Rao from Forus, Sudhir Brahma from Wifi Camera and Controller and Vikrant R. Sankhe from IBM were facilitated by T V Ramachandran, HonFIET, President, Broadband India Forum+D56 and Jim Morrish in a special ceremony that took place on September 7, 2016. Dr. Ravi Ramaswamy received a special mention for his incredible efforts towards adoption of IoT in the healthcare sector and evangelising the decentralization of healthcare across borders.

FluxGen Engineering Technologies Pvt. LtdPin & Park and Personal Air Quality Systems Pvt. Ltd. (PAQS) were recognised by Smt. Rita Teaotia, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry for their exemplary work in the IoT space.
