Ameliorating maternal and infant health has always been a major concern for India. For years, the country has been bending over backward to reduce the maternal mortality rate by providing quality services to the expectant mother and their neonates. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has pulled the plug on the progress and has further heightened the medical hassles.

The start-up ecosystem has also been quite intrigued in driving innovation to enhance maternal health services, ensuring arrant prenatal & child care. These smart wearable and kits s are specially designed to record the significant behaviors and activities of a pregnant woman such as heart rate, sleeping order, risk factors, and other data. The additional benefit of this device is that it can be easily connected to the user’s phone via Bluetooth, the memory card in it stores the data that is directly sent to the doctor portal for further analysis. These data can be used by doctors for delivering immediate treatment and enrich the patient-doctor relationship.
