Is technology a boon or bane? This question had us baffled for decades! There is absolutely no doubt that the tech culture has revolutionized the world, opening doors to new opportunities and greatly impacting our lives at different levels, changing the way we think, communicate, work and live. However, excessive indulgence in digital technology is adversely affecting people’s mental and physical health.
These alarming health concerns caught the attention of Pooja HS, who co-founded Sparcolife Digital Healthcare (Vyana Life) – a full-stack healthcare platform equipped with Digital Diagnostic and Digital Therapeutic Systems to medicate ailments/conditions caused by the digital lifestyle. The core objective of this unique initiative is to underline how digital technologies are responsible for behavioural, physical, and emotional disruptions, giving rise to perilous problems such as low productivity/creativity, inactivity, obesity, infertility, social & emotional complications, and so forth.
Sparcolife Technologies is one of the twelve startups shortlisted for the seventh edition of the Qualcomm Design in India Challenge (QDIC 2022). The Qualcomm Design in India Challenge is an initiative by Qualcomm started in 2016 that encourages and supports design houses and product companies to design and develop innovative hardware product designs incorporating Qualcomm SoCs platforms and technologies. This year, the initiative focused on spurring innovation in 5G use cases, health tech, and mobile edge-compute. Along with a financial grant of INR 3.2 lakh, the startup is endowed with access to a state-of-the-art innovation lab in Bangalore, a comprehensive guide, and mentoring from industry leaders, which will help the team to further shape their technology solutions.
