Improved design for flexible substrate

Flexible substrate is a type of substrate on which electronic circuit assemblies are mounted and pressure sensors are integrated within. Since it is usually made up of a single layer, there are high chances of a short circuit between components, which reduces the efficiency of the system. Further, the leakage current in the system increases due to lack of insulation. The patent proposes a method for creating an improved flexible substrate.

Monitoring system that alerts caregivers based on position of infant in cradle
