Flexible substrate is a type of substrate on which electronic circuit assemblies are mounted and pressure sensors are integrated within. Since it is usually made up of a single layer, there are high chances of a short circuit between components, which reduces the efficiency of the system. Further, the leakage current in the system increases due to lack of insulation. The patent proposes a method for creating an improved flexible substrate.
Monitoring system that alerts caregivers based on position of infant in cradle
Exisiting infant monitoring systems are used to monitor the infant using a microphone placed near to the infaant. But there is no such monitoring system to check the infant's posture and position in the cradle. This patent describes an infant monitoring system for monitoring the cradle to monitor the posture of an infant using an alert mechanism.
Non intrusive system for detecting exercise posture
Currently available technical approaches to detect exercise posture have a number of limitations. These range from manufacturing to sensing accurate points of contact between a user and the exercise mat. This leads to a decrease in reliability and efficiency of the systems available. Maintaing the correct posture is a critical part of any exercise, and failure to do so can lead to serious injuries to the body. Existing technologies and devices to monitor posture are not entirely accurate, leading to bodily harm. The patent proposes an improved method to monitor the exercise posture of an individual by making use of a flexible substrate (mat) and a wearable device equipped with sensors to detect posture.
Improved Spectrometer and a method to measure special characteristics of an object
Two aberrations or distortions are commonly found in the designs made by a conventional spectrometer lens. Hence there is a need to have an optical system in which both of these distortions are removed. AMBU-bags are self-inflating bags primarily used for keeping a patient respirated during movement from one location to another or during procedures such as CPR. Continuous non-invasive monitoring of bilirubin
When red blood cells break down, a substance called bilirubin is formed.
